AQ90 Self Powered Automatic Extinguishers

Description
Developed as a stand-alone automatic fire extinguisher, the AQ90 is ideal for the protection of unmanned or isolated risks in confined spaces.

On a positive detection, a rapid discharge is initiated, and the contents of the cylinder are dumped on the hazard.

A mining version is approved for use underground in UK coalmines.

Operation
No moving parts, the system is self-powered. At 68 deg C, the glass bulb breaks and rapidly discharges onto the fire.
